How to create a PayPal account

Starting an online job like writing articles and reviews or teaching online requires you to make a Paypal account since it is widely used for online payment transactions. And with the booming online shopping, Paypal account is indeed necessary to safely send and receive money online.

From time to time, I have new students asking me how to deposit their class fee and I readily recommend to them to use Paypal. So, I have these steps written for them and hopefully this might also be useful for you.

1. In their web site, you can start creating your account by clicking the Sign Up button.

2. A new page will appear. Click Create Your Paypal Account.

3. For  sending and receiving personal payments, choose Personal and click Get Started under it.

4. This will bring you to another page in which you need to fill in the boxes which require your personal information. Always provide the true answers and make sure that your Paypal name is the same with the bank account that you will provide later on (for withdrawing your money).

5. After all necessary information is given, click the Agree and Create button.

6. Paypal will send you a message in the email address you provided. The message contains your confirmation code and a Confirm button. You have to click the Confirm button in order to finish the process. The confirmation code comes in handy when you have trouble confirming your email or if the Confirm button is not present.

So that's it, you now have a Paypal account and this entitles you to readily receive money in your account from another Paypal user with sending and withdrawing limitations. However, based on my experience, you need to get verified in order to withdraw this money to your bank account and verification process requires you to submit your credit card number.
